fuckyeahtattoos: This is my poppy. It was my fourth tattoo, and it was done in October of last year. Poppies have been my favorite flower for as long as I can remember. My grandmom occasionally wore a pin of a poppy to church. Gran was sick and in the hospital when I got this. I remember coming home that night after getting the tattoo, and my mom telling me that Gran was getting worse. She passed away a few days after that. Even though this tattoo wasn’t necessarily a tribute to my grandmom, I think that’s what I’ll always see it as. It was done by Brian at Sacred Ink Tattoos in Paducah, KY.
